Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and its backwaters, a network of canals popular for cruises. Its many upscale seaside resorts include specialists in Ayurvedic treatments. Inland are the Western Ghats, a mountain range whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as abundant native wildlife.

Day 1 – Cochin- Munnar (150 Kms/04 ½ Hours)

Arrive Cochin Airport /Railway station and proceed to Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 m above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience.Check in the Hotel/ resort. Rest of the day free to enjoy in the Hotel. Over night at Munnar.

Day 2 –  Munnar

The whole day is free to spend in and around Munnar,likeMattupettyDam,Eravikulam National Park,Tea Museum etc.Tea Museum- The Kannan Devan Hills Produce Company Houses India’s only tea Museum in a Century old tea estate. Memorabilia include burial urn from the second century BC, 1905 TEA Roller,1920’s old British Train Engine, photographs, curios, century old relics etc. The tea tasting and watching processing, really worth watch.Blossom International Park- This park sprawls over 16acres , a garden with a profusion of flowers. Boat ride along Munnar Water ways are memorable forever.Mattupetty-At a height of 1700m Dam is a favorite hunt of Nature Lovers and boating inside it creates a transformation in the life as it is memorable and everlasting.
Eravikulam National Park- One of the finest Wild Life Park in the World and it is the largest habitat for the NilgiriTahr, an endangered species

Day 3 –  Munnar – Periyar ( 120 / 03 Hours )

After break fast Proceed to Periyar  and check into the hotel.  Periyar/Thekkady is considered a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove.  The main attraction in thekkady is boating on the lake and the MullaiPeriyar Dam. Boating will take approximate 1 hour  and we can also get rare glimpses of wild animals. Thekkady has immense possibilities for Adventure Tourism. The Forest Department offers many programs including Periyar Tiger Trail, Nature walk, Bamboo Rafting, etc. There are private organizations as well as government agencies (e.g.KTDC), who promote adventure tourism in Thekkady. Plantation tourism also is promoted by these agencies, so that the tourists can see and learn the cultivation of various spices of Kerala.

Day 4 –  Thekkady-  Alleppey( 170 / 04 Hour )

After Breakfast proceed to Alleppey,this is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. Alleppey is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Check into the houseboat on arrival (check in time 12.30 pm). Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay is on the houseboat.

Day 05  Alleppey- Kovalam (180 Kms/04 Hour )

After breakfast check out and proceed for Kovalam. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala , with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse – sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programme, Catamaran cruising etc. Over night at Kovalam

Day 06 Kovalam

The whole day will be devoted to exploring the beauty of this lovely sea side. The light house beach is the best known beach in Kovalam. It offers a striking view of the Vizhinjam Mosque. The Samudra Beach is a better option for those who love solitude for it is not the centre of much activity and impresses one with its tranquility. The Hawah Beach bustles with the activities of fishermen particularly in the mornings. We can bask in these beaches, take a stroll along them and as the sea waves are no less welcoming we can also take a dip in its azure waters. Each moment is sure to be thoroughly enjoyable and fond memories of these days will be cherished for long. At the end of the fun filled day. Evening back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Kovalam- Kanyakumari( 100 KMS/03 HOURS )

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari; on arrival check-in into hotel. Afternoon, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent at the confluence of three major water bodies videlicet the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. A small temple dedicated to goddess Kanyakumari – the youthful form of the primeval energy Shakti (Mother Goddess), is located on the seashore. Swami Vivekananda, the great visionary and spiritual leader, spent days in deep meditation on a rock about 400 m off the Kanyakumari coastline. There is a memorial built on the stone in honor of Swami Vivekananda and adjacent to it stands the 133 ft high statue of Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural. Visit the Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, and TriveniSangamam. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Trivandrum Departure

The blissful holiday in Kerala comes to an end today. Every moment of the trip was memorable but as all good things in life must come to an end it’s time now to head for Trivandrum Airport and board the flight back home.
