BANGALORE (ARRIVAL) – COORG (02 NIGHTS) – MYSORE (01 NIGHT) – OOTY (03 NIGHTS) – COIMBATORE (DROP)

DAY 01: BANGALORE TO COORG

Pickup from arrival and proceed to Coorg Hotel. Enroute visit Bylakuppe – largest Tibetan settlement in South India. A beautiful Monastery with three large and imposing Golden Buddha statues and in a serene setting beckons you. The temple has 62 feet Buddha statues covered with gold plates is a wonderful sight anytime. On Arrival at Coorg, check-in to Coorg Hotel.

DAY 02: COORG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After Morning Breakfast Proceed to visit Abbey Falls-Tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. Omkareshwara Temple-Just a stone’s throw away from the Madikeri Fort is the Omakareshwara Temple, built in 1820 and featuring a blend of red-tile roofed Kerela architecture and Islamic-style domes. At 6.30 PM visit Raja Seat-Raja Seat is an enchanting picnic spot with a swathing in the nature’s lap at Madikeri in Coorg. A visitor to this spot is sure to enjoy the marvelous sight of Sun set and gorgeous valley and mountain ranges. Musical fountain has been attracting a large number of visitors to the garden. Return to hotel in the evening.

DAY 03: COORG TO MYSORE

After breakfast and proceed for full day sightseeing, reach Dubare elephant camp offer the 3-hour experience with Elephants consisting of elephant Grooming, feeding, elephant Ride & Coracle Ride later visit Nisargadhama, Cauvery Island, is an island formed by river Cauvery and is used as a picnic spot island, with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees and surrounded by the Cauvery river. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge. It has a deer park, orchidarium, and elephant and boat rides. Visitors are allowed to get into water at a few shallow and safe points along the river. Later transfer to Mysore; on arrival check-in into hotel. Overnight in Mysore.

DAY 04: MYSORE TO OOTY

After morning breakfast at the hotel; proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Mysore. Mysore, a calm and serene city, lies at a distance of 139 km from Bangalore. The city was the imperial capital of the erstwhile Mysore kingdom ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty. Places of tourist interest include the grand Mysore Palace, Chamarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo Gardens, St. Philomena’s Church, Temples, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens. Later drive to Ooty. Reach Ooty Late-night and check in to hotel Overnight in Ooty.

DAY 05: OOTY LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast proceed for the local sightseeing such as: – Botanical Gardens which is Spread over an area of 55 acres, undoubtedly one of the most sought-after tourist attractions not just in Ooty but in the entire Tamil Nadu. Lush green, well maintained lawns, rare trees species, an Italian-style garden bordering a clear pool, a vast variety of flowering bushes and plants in myriad hues (exotic and ornamental), fern house with a vast range of ferns and orchids, are some of the many highlights of this garden. Ooty Lake – An artificial lake, built in 1825 by John Sullivan, Ooty Lake is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Its scenic beauty captivates everyone. Walking around the lake on a well laid footpath and boating are also quite popular here. Doddabetta Peak – It is the highest point of Nilgiris hills with a height of about 2,623 meters. It is also the second highest peak in South India. A junction of Western and Eastern Ghats, its breathtaking view of the landscape around is something not to be missed. Ooty Tribal Research Center – Located about 10 kilometers from Ooty, it conducts research on the tribals inhabiting South India and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It also houses guest house and a library. Deer Park – It is located about 1 km away from the Ooty Lake. Along with deer such as Sambhar and the Chithal, this park hosts a variety of flora and fauna, especially avian fauna.

DAY 06: COONOOR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, proceed to visit other tourist places of Ooty including: Coonoor – Located around 20 km from Ooty Coonoor is one of the largest hill stations after Ooty. In the Nilgiri Hills, at an altitude of 1,850 m above sea level, this hill stations presents alluring list of tourist attractions and adventure sports like trekking. Sim’s Park – Located at a height of 1780 meters, Sim’s Park is a botanical garden which was established in 1874. It has more than 1000 species of flora including Queensland Karry Pine, Rudraksha (the bead tree) and Ornamental tree making it a place worth visiting. Lamb’s Rock – Located on the way to Dolphin’s Nose in Ooty, Lamb’s Rock is laos called as Echo Rock. A popular picnic spot, it offers an admirable view of Coimbatore Plains and surrounding lush greenery. Route to this place offers trekking opportunities too. Dolphin’s Nose – Located 10 km at a distance from Coonoor, Dolphin’s Nose is a peak offering enchanting view of the Nilgiri Hills and the Catherine Falls. The peak of the hills resembles a nose of a dolphin hence the name. Tea Garden – Conoor, known as the tea garden town, boasts of many breath-taking tea gardens. A tour to these tea plantations, walking through the lush greenery and refreshing aromas of tea is an experience worth trying. Overnight stay at Ooty Hotel.

DAY 07: OOTY SIGHTSEEING & COIMBATORE DROP

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to visit remaining of Ooty sightseeing Parson’s Valley Reservoir – A reserved forest it is located on the Ooty Mysore road. Unhibited growth of flora along with wild animals such as tiger, bison, etc., makes it a perfect destination to visit for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Wax World Ooty – 2 kilometers away from the main city, Wax World display wax statues of many popular Indian personalities and also replicas depicting the typical Indian way of life, especially in the villages. Wenlock Downs – Wenlock Downs is now home to the Gymkhana Club of Ooty and also the Government Sheep Farm. This 80 acres downs also accommodate the Hindustan Photo Films Company and is also a popular spot to visit for golfers. Ooty Rose Garden – The pride of Ooty lies in the Rose Garden With more than 20 thousand variety of roses. It belongs to an elite club of 35 rose gardens around the world which has won the Garden of Excellence Award for South Asia. Later in Evening Transfer to Coimbatore Airport.
