HANOI (ARRIVAL) – HANOI (02 NIGHTS) – HALONG (01 NIGHT) – DANANG (03 NIGHTS) – HO CHI MINH CITY (03 NIGHTS) – HO CHI MINH CITY (DROP)
DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR
Hanoi Airport transfer in. Early check-in before 14h00 is not included. After finishing the visit, return to your hotel. Stay overnight in Hanoi. Meet with the tour guide and start the visit:
- The Temple of Literature is the first university in Vietnam. Literature Lake, Khue Van Pavilion, Stele House, etc. are valuable highlights that you cannot ignore. The tour guide will tell you about of 82 doctor stele stones with names of 1306 people standing until nowadays.
- Hỏa Lò Prison: It is a former prison located in Hanoi, Vietnam, also called Central House or, ironically, Hanoi Hilton. It was built when Indochina was an integral part of the French Empire. Partly destroyed in 1990, it is now a museum.
- Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) is the center of Hanoi, with Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son Temple (outside); furthermore, you could discover Vietnamese traditional and French colonial architecture through buildings surrounding the lake.
- Hanoi train street.
DAY 02: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI
After breakfast, depart for Bai Dinh–Trang An. You will enjoy the beautiful scenes of the rural areas on the way. Get on the car back to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
- Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda. The guide takes you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam, with 500 La Han statues and a bronze Buddha statue, which is 10 meters high and 100 tons in weight. (Bai Dinh Pagoda can be replaced with Mua Cave without extra cost).
- Transfer to the Trang An tourism complex. Trang An covers an area of 2000 ha and includes 47 historical vestiges as well as many mysterious things, such as limestone mountains, valleys, and underground river systems. Take a boat trip to see the mystery and wildness of the cave complex: Sang cave, Toi cave, Ba Giot cave, and Nau Ruou, as well as the scenery of the mountains and rivers in Ninh Binh.
DAY 03: HANOI – HALONG. OVERNIGHT ON THE CRUISE
- Your morning departure from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong Bay takes you on a journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta.
- Arrive in Halong and board a cruise. The crew team will welcome you while the vessel is setting sail. Discover some of the treasures dispersed across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon. You can use the cruise services at your leisure while on board. You could also attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking.
- Lunch and dinner will be served in the elegant dining room. A wide selection of wines and beverages (with an extra charge applied) are available for your selection.
- In the evening, you can enjoy entertainment activities such as movie night, squid fishing, or simply relaxing with a cocktail while you are surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out of the silent waters in the night.
DAY 04: HALONG – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DANANG (AIRFARE EXCLUDED)
- Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day by enjoying some delights with a light breakfast, followed by a colorful brunch. Continue exploring Halong Bay by sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights.
- Check out the cruise, get back to the harbor, and return to Hanoi.
Then, transfer to Hanoi Airport to take the flight to Danang. (Arrive at HAN Airport between 15h00 and 16h00). Danang Airport arrival; Get picked up at Danang Airport. Overnight in Danang.
DAY 05: HOI AN COCONUT TOUR – MARBLE MOUNTAIN – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
Have breakfast at the hotel. After Sightseeing, Back to Danang in the late evening. Overnight in Danang.
- Transfer to Bay Mau Coconut Village, where you will have the chance to explore the wetland ecosystem and learn about the daily lives of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community. Nothing is more interesting than joining local fishermen on the river and enjoying hands-on experience. You will especially know how to ride a basket boat. Rowing the boat through the small and beautiful channels, you will come to the inside of the water coconut forest, where you can visit the coconut trees growing together.
- Marble Mountain, a cluster of five limestone peaks, with the harmonious beauty of the ecological area and the spiritual and cultural life
- Non Nuoc village is a famous traditional village for fine art stone engraving products.
- Hoi An ancient town: Take a walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge.
DAY 06: DANANG – BANA HILLS – DANANG
After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na Hills.
- Upon arrival, enjoy the first leg of the cable car. Visit Le Jardin, old wineries, French villa ruins, and the Ling Ung Pagoda, with its 27-meter-high Buddha statue and Golden Bridge.
- Then take the second cable car to visit the top of the mountain and see the remains of old villas.
- Conquer the peak of Chua Mountain at a height of 1,487 m. View the whole city of Danang under the cluster of white clouds.
- Play plenty of games at Fantasy Park. (Tickets do not include visits to the Wax Statue Display, Slide Games, Debay Wine Cellar, Climbing Games and Prize Games.)
Return to the cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain, then transfer back to Da Nang City. Overnight in Danang.
DAY 07: DANANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY (AIRFARE EXCLUDED)
After Breakfast, Transfer to Danang Airport to take the flight for Ho Chi Minh City (early check-in before 14h00 is not included). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 08: FULL DAY HO CHI MINH CITY & CU CHI TUNNEL
Have breakfast at the hotel. Full day Sightseeing, Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for overnight. Today visit:
- Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace. This is a widely known landmark designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
- Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial era, such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office.
- The War Remnants Museum follows, with a vast display of both Indochina wars.
- In the afternoon, depart for the Cu Chi Tunnel; the trip will take approximately one and a half hours of bus driving. Upon arrival, you will have a short introduction and watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems, which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. There were many hidden trapdoors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. It’s time for relaxation or for those who want to try a real shooting gun (at their own expense).
DAY 09: FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA TOUR
Have breakfast at the hotel. full day Sightseeing, Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
- Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, begin your journey to My Tho, a town on the left bank of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, which dates back to the late 19th century. Then, board the sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands known as the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
- Visit Unicorn Island, walk through country lanes, see orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits and folk music performed by locals. Visit the fruit plantation.
- Ride a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit a honeybee farm, and enjoy honey tea and a coconut candy workshop.
- In the afternoon, go cycling around Tan Thach village and meet the local villagers to experience local daily life in the Mekong Delta.
DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE
After Brackfast, transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport to take the flight back home.
