BAGDOGRA (ARRIVAL) – GANGTOK (03 NIGHTS) – LACHUNG (02 NIGHTS) – PELLING (02 NIGHTS) – DARJEELING (02 NIGHTS) – BAGDOGRA (DEPARTURE)

DAY 01: BAGDOGRA – GANGTOK

Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.).Check-in to the hotel. Evening free forleisure to explore on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.  (Distance: 114 kms. /4-5 hrs.)

DAY 02: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,313 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Also known as Changu Lake, the glacial lake is a popular tourist attraction. The next stop on your sightseeing excursion is Baba Mandir. The shrine is built in memory of a brave Indian soldier, Harbhajan Singh. If permit issued, take an optional tour to Nathula (14,000 ft.) situated near the China border at an extra cost. Later return to Gangtok. The evening is free for shopping activities. Shop at the popular MG Marg & Lal Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03: GANGTOK – LACHUNG (120 KMS / 6 HRS)

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Lachung, North Sikkim. On the way stop over in beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Seven sister waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang (Subjected to operation of the normal route) On arrival at Lachung, check- in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung.

DAY 04: YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way visit Hot Spring Considered to have medicinal properties. Back to hotel. Evening free to stroll around the village. Overnight at Lachung.

DAY 05 : LACHUNG – GANGTOK

After breakfast at the hotel head back to Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 06: GANGTOK HALF DAY LOCAL SIGHTSEEING – PELLING

After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Do drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Later transfer to Pelling. Overnight stay at Pelling.  (Distance: 120 Kms/ 5 Hrs)

DAY 07: PELLING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at the hotel proceed for Pelling sightseeing covering Kechopalri Lake; it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true – Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdense Ruins & Chenrezig statue cum Skywalk – India’s first skywalk. Back to hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 08: PELLING – SINGSHORE BRIDGE – DARJEELING (69 KMS/ 3 HRS)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a tour to Singshore Bridge. Connecting two gorges in West Sikkim the Singshore Suspension bridge is the second highest in Asia. Later proceed for Darjeeling. Check-in at the hotel. In the evening stroll around Chowrasta on your own. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 09: DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early morning (4:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8400ft) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft). On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self – help centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway & Japanese Temple. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Optional Toy train Joy Ride can be done on this day at an additional cost(Tickets can be booked online through IRCTC {DJ to DJRZ}.

DAY 10: DARJEELING TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (70 KMS/ 3 HRS)

After breakfast, check – out from hotel and transfer to Bagdogra airport for onward journey.
